The Pilferguard is a heavy-duty alarm that mounts to the door. An accompanying magnetic detector is furnished and mounted to the door frame.

When door is closed, the magnet and alarm are in close contact with each other which keeps the alarm in normal operation.

When door is opened, alarm and magnet separate causing the high decibel alarm to sound.

A BP6 battery pack is furnished.

The alarm uses a standard mortise cylinder which is sold separately.

When alarm is armed, use key in mortise cylinder to disable alarm and exit the building.
